The World Health Day, an awareness-raising and preventive event with a tradition of more than ten years, took place in the Olympia Brno shopping centre. The event, organised on the occasion of World Health Day, declared by the WHO on 7 April, took place on the weekend of 20 and 21 April. Visitors had the opportunity to have their blood pressure and blood sugar levels measured, which was highly sought after and most popular. Volunteers from the organising team highlighted the importance of regular checks and treatment for high blood pressure or diabetes. The event also stressed the importance of reproductive health prevention and education about human papillomavirus (HPV), emphasizing the importance of vaccination against the virus.
