Special Study of Theoretical Courses for the First or Second Year
Pursuant to the provision of Section 60 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. as amended in Act No. 147/2001 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions and on Amendments and Addenda to Other Acts, the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University implements Lifelong Learning Programmes (hereinafter referred to as LLP).
Under LLP, applicants may complete special studies of individual theoretical courses included in the first four semesters of accredited Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programmes. At maximum, two theoretical courses may be enrolled per semester. Courses are chosen by the applicants out of the offer of courses announced for a given semester. As part of a particular course, the applicants enroll in the entire instruction associated herein (seminars, practices, etc.).
The education is paid and its participants are not students in terms of the above-mentioned Act.
An LLP is completed by the issuance of a certificate on its successful completion. Successful graduates of the LLP, who obtain the required number of credits within the framework of the special study, may have these credits recognised by Masaryk University in full extent, if they become students (Sect. 60, par. 2, Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Learning Institutions, as amended).

Lifelong Learning Programme Fee for the academic year 2012/2013: 1,000 Euro for one course and semester.
Pursuant to Sect. 60, par. 3, of Act No. 111/1998, on Higher Learning Institutions, the participants of Lifelong Learning Programmes are not regular students.
