What experiences make you a great ambassador?

During my time at university, I have experienced many challenges that have helped me grow into a more resilient and adaptable person. Because of these experiences, I understand how overwhelming the transition to university life can be, especially when we are away from home. I was very lucky to have people from upper years guiding and helping me and I hope to do the same for the newcomers.

What advice would you give to new students?

The best advice I would give to new students is to learn how to manage your time from the very beginning. The first few years are very content-heavy, and it’s important to stay consistent with your studies rather than only focusing when exam season approaches. At the same time, it’s essential to maintain balance. Finding activities that help you unwind is just as important as spending countless hours studying. For me, exercising and spending time with close friends helped me recharge and stay motivated.

What do you love most about Brno?

What I love most about Brno is how cozy and balanced it feels; it’s neither too big nor too small. I also love its central location in Europe, which makes it possible to visit nearby cities during the weekend. Spring is my absolute favourite time of the year in Brno. The weather is perfect, the city looks beautiful and it’s the ideal time to take long walks around.
