What experiences make you a great Ambassador?
From my past years in Brno, I’ve experienced the ups and downs of student life—from adapting to a new country and culture to managing studies and finding balance. I know how overwhelming it can feel in the beginning. My seniors and colleagues helped guide me through those early stages, and I’d love to offer that same support and guidance to new students or even just a friendly face.
What advice would you give to new students?
Most importantly, Plan. Plan your time wisely and you can ace through these 6 years and make the best out of it. Plan your studies but also plan fun activities with your friends. Plan your exams but also give yourself the break you deserve. If things don’t go the way you plan, re-plan and make it work the second time. Your life here is what you make of it, so find your balance but also enjoy the experience!
What do you love about Brno?
Brno is a perfect student-city. It’s got great cafes, parks, restaurants, libraries and many attractions. You can also get to anywhere in the city with the public trams and buses. It offers everything you need to focus and unwind. Also, Brno is located in the heart of Europe, you’re just a train ride away from beautiful cities like Prague and Vienna.
I personally really love the Christmas markets in the City Centre- it’s the perfect mix of good food, good atmosphere and the festive spirit, I look forward to them every year.
