What experiences make you a great ambassador?
I believe we all have a responsibility to pass down the information we learn - whether it be life advice or related to academia. I like to distil the collective experiences (struggles and successes) from my own story and from others, and offer advice to students enquiring about starting at MU or students in their early years. My decision to create this ambassador programme was made with the intention to create a more personal connection between incoming and current students of various nationalities. I personally, really enjoy giving back to the community and representing our faculty in my roles within MIMSA, UIMS and work with the international study office. I'm always available to students who have questions or concerns about the faculty - please feel free to contact me any time!

What advice would you give to new students?
You'll need to learn how to learn before you can start tackling your medical subjects. Once you've found what works best for you, understand when to study, how long to study for and crucially, when to take breaks. I can't stress enough how important it is to maintain a healthy work - social life balance.

What do you love most about Brno?
Coming from London, the first thing I noticed about Brno was the calmness in the air. There are an incredible number of quiet corners in the city where you can unwind and relax. Studying in the heart of central Europe means you are never more than a bus or train journey away from a neighbouring town or even country!
