Intensive Czech & Physics Course
The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University organizes an Intensive Czech & Physics Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year 2023/2024.

Then this course has been made especially for you! In the first year, many students who have taken the Mathematics entrance test find themselves underprepared for one of the first significant exams in their first year - Biophysics. Do you want to make sure that doesn't happen to you and want to be prepared the best you can? Take this course!
Do you want to get ahead in the Czech language?
Czech, the language of the university you have been accepted to, is admittedly not an easy language. From the third year onwards, students meet the patients, the majority of which speak the language. For that reason, our students take Czech language classes from the start. For your smooth sailing throughout the first year of Czech language classes, this course will be your ideal captain.
Get a Head Start
- get a 2-weeks in-person introduction to the language and a base of one of the important subjects
- study on campus and get familiar with the environment before your first semester starts
- meet the expert lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine
The course provides an advantage for an easier start with studying the Czech language, and offers a step-by-step introduction to the basic aspects of the language, essential orientation in grammar, and prepares you for elementary conversational situations in everyday life. It also gives you a knowledge foundation of Physics, which will help you get through the first year.
The course takes 2 weeks and each day covers 5 lessons - 3 lessons of Czech language and 2 lessons of Physics. It will be held from 4 September 2023 to 15 September 2023 in the Lecture hall no. 228/211, pavilion B11 in the University Campus at Kamenice 5, Brno. The maximum capacity is 40 participants.
The course costs 15 000 CZK (approx. 600 EURO). Participants who pay this course will receive e-mails with all information including the new enrolment day on 4 September 2023.
To order your payment you must use your UCO and password for IS MU Personal Administration you have obtained in the Acceptance Letters.
