Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

MASH Junior Star 2024 winners announced
The Grant Agency of Masaryk University (GAMU) has announced the names of two young scientists who will receive MASH Junior Star grants for promising MU researchers who have recently completed their postgraduate studies.

Spanish teacher and her daughter: Christmas in Brno enchanted us
Civil law teacher María Esther Rovira Sueiro knew about Masaryk University because of its excellent reputation abroad, so she recommended it to her daughter as a great place for her Erasmus year. In the end, she joined her daughter in Brno – at the end of the semester, she taught a week-long course at the MU Faculty of Law.

Czech President appoints new MU professors
More than 70 new professors received their appointment decrees from the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and the Minister of Education, Mikuláš Bek, at the Clementinum in Prague. Eight of them (two women and six men) were nominated by the Scientific Board of Masaryk University.
