The Simulation Centre of Masaryk University is preparing two identical one-day simulation courses on Critical Conditions in adult anaesthesia on 8th and 9th June 2021. The participants will get the opportunity to try out in a safe environment the management of critical conditions in perioperative period.
The course is designed for physicians from the field of Acute Internal Medicine (AIM). The price of the course is 5.500 CZK and includes course fees and refreshments.
The organizer of the course is the head of the Simulation Centre, prof. MUDr. Petr Štourač, Ph.D., and guarantor is doc. MUDr. Martina Kosinová, Ph.D., MUDr. Jan Maláska, Ph.D. In the role of lecturers there will be MUDr. Kamil Hudáček, MUDr. Jan Hudec, MUDr. Jitka Chlupová, MUDr. Tereza Prokopová.
The capacity of the course is 8 participants. If we reach the capacity of 8 substitutes per course, the capacity can be extended to 16 participants. You can register from 3. 5. 2021 to 21. 5. 2021.
The educational event is organized in compliance with the professional rule of the Czech Medical Chamber no. 16 and is awarded 6 credits.

In addition to the many activities associated with the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of Masaryk University, from 3 to 8 April 2024, students of the Faculty of Medicine added a project aimed at supporting homeless people. Food collections were held at all faculties of the university. The goal was to collect symbolically at least 105 kg.
Prof. MUDr. Hana Hrstková, CSc., has extensive experience in the field of pediatrics, especially in pediatric oncology. For many years she was the head of the First Children's Internal Medicine Clinic of the University Hospital Brno. She specializes mainly in hematology, hematooncology and oncology. In addition to the treatment of malignant tumours, she also deals with late effects of oncological therapy and teaching at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. He has been working at the University Hospital Brno for more than 40 years and this year he will celebrate a significant jubilee.
