At the ceremonial act held on 6th October 2021 on the premises of the clinic, which was hosted by the current Head of the workplace prof. Štourač, spoke the Director of UH Brno prof. Štěrba, the Dean of FM MU prof. Repko, Deputy for Medicine for the workplace of Children’s Hospital assoc. prof. Blatný, Deputy for Medicine for the workplace of Medicine of adult age in Bohunice and Maternity Hospital prof. Ludka, Deputy Head of DPAICM for medical and preventive care, senior doctor Dominik and Head Nurse of DPAICM Mgr. Říhová. They all emphasized the importance of the department in the clinical and academic field, thanked the team and wished them good luck in the next years of activity. On this occasion, assoc. prof. Blatný christened the publication “Five Years of the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine”, which briefly summarizes the history, main changes, statistical indicators, research and development, academic and publication activity of the workplace between years 2016 – 2020. Copies of the publication are freely available at the secretariat of the department (available in Czech language).
