In recent years, it has become customary for much of the program organized by Masaryk University during Researchers' Night to be concentrated on the university campus. In addition to the host faculties, the event also featured presentations from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Economics and Administration, and even the Faculty of Social Studies. The corridors and classrooms were also home to the MU Language Centre and the MU Career Centre.
"I enjoy being part of this shared enthusiasm and curiosity to explore. Seeing the inquisitive looks on the youngest visitors’ faces, watching lead researchers return to the basics of lab work, and seeing them leave late at night exhausted but smiling—it’s all incredibly rewarding," says Václav Tesař from the Office for Communication and External Relations, which coordinates the Faculty's involvement in Researchers' Night.
In addition to the station-based presentations, attendees could visit the main auditorium to attend one of nine popular science lectures or participate in excursions to the nearby Sleep Medicine Centre at the University Hospital Brno and the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute.
