MEDay offered students and staff preventive healthcare directly at the faculty
The second edition of the preventive health event MEDay confirmed that prevention also has its place directly in the academic environment.
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, in accordance with Section 27(1)(c) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Other Acts, adopted the following resolutions:
Extension of accreditation for the programme Bioanalytical Laboratory Diagnostics in Healthcare – Embryologist:
The Senate approved the request to extend the accreditation of the master’s full‑time programme taught in Czech and recommended its approval to the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Medicine, MU.
New accreditation of the programme Specialist for Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction:
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Medicine supported the application for new accreditation of a master’s degree programme taught in English, focused on clinical embryology and assisted reproduction. The programme was recommended to the Scientific Board for approval.
Amendment of the rules for the creation of the non‑investment budget:
The Senate discussed the Dean’s intention to update the current rules for preparing the non‑investment budget of academic departments. The material was taken into consideration without comments.
Approval of the admission requirements for English‑language programmes 2026/2027:
The Academic Senate approved the admission requirements for programmes taught in English for the year 2026 and the academic year 2026/2027 in the submitted form.
