Brno Ph.D. Scholarship. Talent is financial support and an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Successful PhD students gain access to development courses focusing on soft skills and the opportunity to meet with experts and past awardees.
According to the Mayor of Brno, Markéta Vaňková, the programme aims to support young talents in their scientific careers and strengthen their ties to the Brno region. "With this scholarship, they can focus on their research projects, which may have global significance in the future," she said when announcing the names of all the PhD students who the City of Brno will support with an extraordinary scholarship totalling CZK 9 million over the next three years.

The awarded PhD students are working on topics that have the potential to bring fundamental findings in neuroscience, biomedical sciences or oncology.
