The real season will not begin until spring. Still, potential admirers of medicinal plants will only be able to enjoy a glimpse over the fence of the otherwise year-round open botanical garden in the coming days. "The gate will be locked for about a week due to renovations taking place just behind the entrance. However, if anything needs to be resolved, you can contact us by e-mail or phone. After an appointment, it will be possible to meet for a consultation," assured the head of the Medicinal Herbs Centre, Lea Jedonková. Even after the current renovation of the space at the entrance, caution will be required in the garden.
Even after the current renovation of the entrance area, caution will be required in the garden. Everything should be completed by the end of May. Visitors can then look forward to: • more comfortable seating at the entrance for waiting for guided tours • strengthening of less accessible paths • a new teaching area with seating at the end of the garden, suitable for smaller events • and most importantly, a Therapeutic Garden inspired by old monastery gardens, converted into a modern form. This part will primarily serve disabled students, but when they are not using it, it will also be accessible to other interested parties.
