GA ČR EXPRO and JUNIOR STAR Calls for 2027 launched
The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) has announced calls for project proposals for the EXPRO and JUNIOR STAR competitions. Project proposals may be submitted until 20 April 2026.
6 newly supported GA ČR projects for 2024
In the next year, the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GA ČR) will support a total of 6 projects of FM MU applicants.
In its largest grant call, the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GA ČR) will support 357 new projects in all areas of basic research starting next year. These projects will receive CZK 2.75 billion over the next three years.
In the highly competitive competition, a total of 6 projects of applicants from the MU Faculty of Medicine were supported for 2024. This year, only about one-fifth of the best proposals succeeded; in the words of the GA ČR Chairman, only top scientists will be supported.
Even so, for 2 of the supported projects, the MU Faculty of Medicine will be the main investigator, and for 4 projects the MU Faculty of Medicine will be the co-investigator.
