OPEN SCIENCE
Grant-office breakfast on Open science
On 18th October 2022 the attendees met with Jiri Marek from the MUNI Open science team and discussed the issues of Open science, support at MU and FM MU, open FAIR data, open access to scientific publications and data management planning.
If interested, you can join the Research data management seminar on 9th November 2022 at 12:30 in room B11/334. The seminar will focus on recommendations in the area of data management in relation to research and project applications. Please contact Marketa Bartova.

ERC
ERC grant of Klara Mareckova was submitted
Klara Mareckova submitted an ERC Starting Grant proposal to the European Research Council. The aim of the MaHeChiDe project is to identify mechanisms linking maternal health during pregnancy and the development of the brain and behaviour of the child. Fingers crossed for the evaluation!

CZECRIN
Jacques Demotes, Director General of ECRIN, visited the research infrastructure CZECRIN at FM MU
He met with the representatives of the Czech Clinical Research Infrastructure Network and Christine Kubiak, Executive Director of ECRIN, joined the meeting remotely. Among other topics, the meeting addressed strategies and challenges for the future period 2023 - 2026.

TAČR TREND
Do you have a business partner?
From 23rd November 2022 your business partner can submit a project proposal to TAČR TREND “NOVACCI” (Beginners) call. The call is aimed at kick-starting in-house R&D activities in companies that have not yet carried out their own R&D activities or purchased services from research organisations on a regular basis. Deadline: 11th January 2023. More information (Czech only) here.
