New GA CR calls open today!
The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) has launched new calls for proposals for STANDARD PROJECTS, JUNIOR STAR, POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP, international and Lead Agency projects.
Faculty deadline is 29th March 2023. The results will be announced in November this year. Funded projects that succeed in the multi-stage evaluation process will start in 2024.
An internal seminar on the new GA CR calls for researchers will be held on 27th February 2023 (9:00 - 10:30). Please register here.

GA ČR JUNIOR STAR - opportunity for young scientists
The JUNIOR STAR competition is open to excellent early career scientists up to 8 years after obtaining their Ph.D. in all areas of basic research who have already published in prestigious international journals and have significant international experience. The aim of the five-year projects with a total budget of up to CZK 25 million is to provide an opportunity to become independent scientists and possibly establish their own research group that will bring new research topics to Czech science. Project for early-career researchers collaborating with a company
Technology Agency of CR aims is to support the collaboration of early-career researchers with subjects from the application sphere. Early-career researcher is defined as a person up to 35 years of age, or bachelor, master or doctoral student or graduate having completed the studies no more than 5 years ago. Duration of the project: 1 – 2 years, maximum amount of support per project: CZK 5 million. Deadline: 5th April 2023. More information at projekty@med.muni.cz.
