Základem vynikající ústní hygieny pacienta je instruktáž a vytvoření vhodných podmínek pro domácí péči, a to ordinačním odstraněním retenčních míst mikrobiálního plaku a ultrazvukové odstranění již existujících nánosů zubního kamene. Zakoupením přístrojového a materiálového vybavení a zavedení do výuky povede bezpochyby ke zmodernizování protetického zubního lékařství a dřívějšího zapojení studentů do ošetřování pacientů v předmětech Protetické zubní lékařství I-VI.

Results

Students worked with hand instruments and ultrasonic handpiece with different end pieces in practicals in subjects: Prosthetic dentistry I ZLPL0451c and aZLPL0451c, Prosthetic dentistry II ZLPL0562c and aZLPL0562c, Prosthetic dentistry III ZLPL0663c and aZLPL0663c, Prosthetic dentistry IV ZLPL0764c and aZLPL0764c, Prosthetic dentistry V ZLPL0865c and aZLPL0865c ,Prosthetic dentistry VI ZLPL0966c and aZLPL0966c. Students got manual skills with manipulation with ultraconis handpiece and end points and hand instruments when removing supra and subgingival calculus. Ultrasonic handpiece with end points and hand instruments will be used in future in practicals in subjects: Prosthetic dentistry I ZLPL0451c and aZLPL0451c, Prosthetic dentistry II ZLPL0562c and aZLPL0562c, Prosthetic dentistry III ZLPL0663c and aZLPL0663c, Prosthetic dentistry IV ZLPL0764c and aZLPL0764c , Prosthetic dentistry V ZLPL0865c and aZLPL0865c, Prosthetic dentistry VI ZLPL0966c and aZLPL0996c.
