Membership in SPARK Global Network
We cooperate with Stanford University and we are members of SPARK Global
By signing the Global Charter, the Faculty of Medicine started cooperation with Stanford University within the SPARK programme for support of translational research and became a member of SPARK Global network, which connects more than 60 institutions around the world and supports translation of results of biomedical research into clinical practice.
The SPARK program was established at Stanford School of Medicine in 2006 in order to facilitate the path of biomedical research into clinical practice in the form of new treatment and diagnostic procedures for patients. The program provides top consultancy through a network of experts and helps scientists push their results closer to practical use.

SPARK EUROPE WEBINAR SERIES SPRING 2024
At the Faculty of Medicine also as an ECTS course "DSPARK SPARK webinar series".
The SPARK network offers educational events in the field of translational research and so-called transferable skills to their member institutions. It covers topics such as Design Thinking, Addressing Clinical Need, Target product Profile, Project and process management, IP Strategies for Inventions in Biotech, Regulatory Aspects, Collaborative Research & Development with Industry, Entrepreneurial mindset, and business thinking.
Online webinars take place once a month usually on Wednesdays at 16:00 – 17:00 CET.
SPARK EUROPE WEBINAR SERIES is coordinated by institutions involved in the SPARK network from all over Europe including Israel: SPARK-BIH, SPARK Finland, SPARK FLI in Jena, SPARK Poland a SPARK Tel Aviv.
