"Female Empowerment in Academia" Online Course Offer
The online course "Female Empowerment in Academia" is designed for academics, researchers, PhD candidates, and administrative staff who want to better understand the barriers to gender equality in academia and gain practical tips on how to address them.
Explore key topics like structural inequalities, gender-based violence in academia, methodologies for gendersensitive research, and understand gender beyond ticking the project policy boxes to make a meaningful impact in your field.
Course topics:
- Structural inequalities, glass ceiling, work-life balance
- Sexism and gender-based violence in academia
- Gender-sensitive research methodologies
The course runs from February 20 to May 15, 2025 in an asynchronous, self-paced format (approx. 25 hours in total).
