IBA s.r.o. received the prestigious ECRIN certification
The Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses (IBA s.r.o.) has become the first data centre in Central and Eastern Europe to receive the prestigious ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) certification. This achievement opens the door to international academic clinical trials.
IBA s.r.o. developed its own software, CLADE-IS, for data management and collection, a key advantage and the biggest challenge in obtaining the certification. As stated by one of the company's directors and co-founders, Daniel Schwarz, this software must undergo constant validation because any data loss or error is unacceptable.
IBA Ltd. was founded ten years ago as a spin-off of Masaryk University. To apply for ECRIN certification, it became part of the national clinical research support network CZECRIN, which is coordinated by Masaryk University and represents academic clinical trials in the Czech Republic.
