Life Science Transfer Academy is a joint educational program of JIC Innovation Agency, MUNI MED, MUNI PHARM, MUNI SCI, CEITEC MUNI and TTO MUNI focusing on key aspects of technology transfer in the life sciences.
The programme is intended for anyone who wants to better understand how their research can be translated into practice — through collaboration, licensing, or the creation of future spin-off companies.
Participants will learn how to transform research into market-ready innovations through intellectual property protection, industry collaboration, commercialization, and the creation of spin-off companies.

Join 8 training sessions taking place from September 30 to December 2, 2026, every Wednesday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at CEITEC MU.
The course is open not only to PhD candidates, pregradual students, but also to those in the postdoctoral stage of their research careers.

Life Science Transfer Academy - registration
A new international research project, CILIOTACTIC, was launched in early September. Thanks to funding from the prestigious Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships program, Annette Jacobsen, an early-career researcher specialising in primary cilia, has joined Lukáš Čajánek’s research group at the Institute of Histology and Embryology.
This series of lectures, intended for the general public, builds on the legacy of Gregor Johann Mendel and offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest discoveries in the beautiful setting of the Mendel Refectory, discuss current social and scientific challenges, and meet leading experts from the international academic community.
