On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the second annual MUNI HR Day conference, organized by the Personnel Management Office MU, took place at the Masaryk University Campus Library. The event attracted many participants from HR professionals, managers, academics, and students from Masaryk University and other institutions.
The day-long program offered inspiring lectures focused on current HR topics such as artificial intelligence in HR, corporate culture, talent management and evaluation and motivational interviewing. Keynote speakers included experts such as Filip Dřímalka, Petr Hovorka, Lenka Petrušková and Eva Vacíková, who shared their experiences and tips from practice. The accompanying programme was also very interesting, namely the masterfully prepared mind maps by Jitka Jungmanová.
Participants also had the opportunity to network and discuss current trends in HR, which contributed to establishing new contacts and sharing experiences.
We would like to thank the organizers for the professional preparation and inspiring program, as well as all the participants for the amazing atmosphere. We are already looking forward to next year's edition and other great meetings!
A team of scientists led by the head of the research group at the Department of Biology, Nicola Silva, has made a significant achievement in research into the reduced or impaired function of the Synaptonemal complex, which may be one of the causes of sterility. The paper by an international team of authors was published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature Communications in March 2025.
