Nine projects funded in this year’s GA ČR call

Nine projects from the Faculty of Medicine were successful in this year's call for proposals from the Czech Science Foundation. Of the 40 applications submitted, almost a quarter received funding, which is the faculty's best result in recent years.

Triple attack against cancer: block – expose – destroy

Scientists from the Michal Masařík Research Group are contributing to the development of migrastatics – drugs that limit the movement of tumour cells, thereby reducing the risk of metastasis formation. Using them, they are developing a new concept of antitumour therapy.

In our previous article on social safety, we wrote about what this term means – respect, trust, and protection. This time, we will focus on situations where interpersonal communication shifts from a normal dispute or misunderstanding to bullying or hate speech.
