Together with members of the HR Award Working Group, we celebrated the HR Excellence in Research Award at the end of May. With this great achievement, we wanted to take a moment to pause, remind ourselves of how much we have already achieved and thank everyone without whose involvement it would not have been possible to get to this stage.
As part of the celebrations, together with the Vice-Dean Prof. MUDr. Tomáš Kašpárek, Ph.D., we also officially presented and christened the long-awaited Handbook for Leaders. Working on HR Award activities is a long-term process. We are starting the next stage full of new challenges that need to be implemented. We opened a discussion on the preparation of a new career path system at LF MU.
In the coming years, we are facing several crucial areas, and if you want to get involved in HR Award activities, you have the opportunity to choose one of the 10 thematic working groups and directly influence the upcoming changes.

What did last year bring, and what is in the pipeline for HR Award activities in 2024? The HR Award Action Plan implementation phase is in progress; together, we have already implemented many important tasks, and more are expected this year. Here is a summary of what has been achieved and what we will continue to focus on at the Faculty.
We invite you to another Brunch for Expat Women in Czech Science, which we decided to organize in cooperation with Hyb4City after increasing requests. The event will take place on May 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Kampus Hybernská, and advance registration for the event is required. The invitation was accepted by Zsófia Csajbók, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague, who will be a guest speaker at this event.
