Neuroscientists from Brno, led by Milan Brázdil from the First Department of Neurology at Masaryk University and the University Hospital Brno, have contributed to research into how the brain processes visual stimuli and how this affects our consciousness. The results of the research conducted by an international team of scientists have been published in the journal Nature Communications.
The event took place on 10 February 2026 and was attended by nearly 60 employees who had joined the Faculty within the past six months or were unable to attend the previous session. The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, Prof. Martin Repko, MD, Ph.D.
