Open Science
A Restart and strategic setting of OA/FAIR data (Open Science) at MU activity is currently underway within the project HR4MUII. Its goal is to set a new university Open Science strategy, support researchers in the field of Open Science, and training of the support staff. Services provided to researchers include:
- Direct support in open publishing and research data (filling in the Repository, consultancy in OA journals and predatory journals, APC monitoring, handling of scientific data, DMP, fulfilling FAIR principles…)
- Spreading awareness and knowledge in the field of Open Science (training, workshops, promotion…)
We will inform you about training, workshops, and many other events for researchers and administrative staff in the section “News” at the Open Science @MUNI website.
In case of interest in individual training for any of the fields of Open Science, please get in touch with faculty methodologists or university Open Science manager.
Discounts for publishing in Open Access at MU
- Karger – authors from the MU have the opportunity to publish in Karger publishing house journals in the Open Access mode without author fees in case the corresponding author is from the MU and has an email with muni.cz domain (med.muni.cz, sci.muni.cz, ceitec.muni.cz etc.) during handing in the paper.
