| Description | During any transport the critically ill patient is at risk of developing complications that can have fatal consequences. The decision whether to undergo patient transport is the result of mature reflection comparing the risks and benefits of this act. Critically ill patients are transported to another place in order to provide additional care therapeutic or diagnostic character which can not be achieved at the present site. |
