Description The Managing of New Workers in the Nursing practice - for the head and ward nurses - is dedicated to linear managers working in nursing care. Managers working in the non-medical professions and students can also use it. The effective management of the adaptation process requires methods that loosen the developing potential of the new employees. Thus, the successful functioning of the staff is supported both in the team and on the workplace. During the adaptation process the harmony between the specialized knowledge, skills and social experience with the specific working conditions is created. The integral part of the publication is the introduction of the tools which are required for the management of the adaptation process. The tools may be used in the clinical practice. The managers, who are responsible for the organization and the adaptation process, are in charge of the usage of the specific methods. The precise usage of the tools is influenced by the adaptation process. The new employees may see it as a benefit or as a pure formality. The text describes other approaches to the management of the new employees. It is the area of communication and social interaction in particular; their level has a significant impact on the adaptation of the new workforce by means of creation of the new interpersonal relationships and the positive social climate on the workplace. The crucial part of the management of the new employees in the adaption process is the realization of the system that assesses the worker's performance and his motivation.
