Description The publication summarizes the results of four years-long mycological survey of environments and books in the Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad (Czech Republic). One of the results is the modified methodology for detection of fungi on old prints and in the library environment. There were found microscopic fungi dangerous for immunocompromised people. The risk situations can be caused by technical defects associated with high humidity of space and stored books. In the case of such event it is necessary to protect persons working in this environment.
