| Description | Pain in children is a serious clinical problem with significant psychosocial overlap, especially in its chronic form. Identification and subsequent treatment of pain in a paediatric patient is difficult. However, pain relief can be achieved for each patient. The article presents an overview of basic principles and approaches in the treatment of pain in paediatric patients, where multimodal approach dominates. The use of these principles in clinical practice can significantly help in the effectiveness of pain management in children. |
