Description Different behavioural rodent models (rat i.v. drug self-administration, mouse agonistic behaviour, open field test,) were used. Behavioural sensitization to metamphetamine was ocnfirmed after repeated pretreatment with methpahetmaine itself but also after MDMA, morphine and cannabinoid CB1 receptor agonist. A higher rewarding effect of methamphetamine was noted in the sensitized animals with estrus-like conditions and attenuated by estrogen deprivation.
