| Description | Oral antiseptics are auxiliary agents with antimicrobial effect used in the treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases. Three parts of this article discuss the issue of mechanism of oral antiseptics effect, overview of particular chemicals and products available locally and abroad and their comparison. Upleaseant side effects are also mentioned. In the final part, the author deals with subgingival use of oral antiseptics and local antibiotics. |
