| Description | So far, the two methods examined a group of 33 persons.Each of the test subjects was tested three times using both methods for the purpose of repeatability, and an average value was calculated from the results afterwards. Superposition was diagnosed in all of the test subjects, in most cases both methods also revealed a minor heterophoria. Average deviation measured by Schober test was +0,43 +/- 1,82pD of esophoria. Average subjective angle indicated by synoptophore was +2,59 +/- 4,07pD of esophoria, which corresponds to the original assumption that the subjective angle will be more positive than the deviation measured by Schober test.On synoptoforu results are in 78.8% more positive compared Schober test. I believe that the results of the synoptoforu may be more favorable due to present proximal convergence. |
