Description Trainings program is a part of the second rehab. phase, which is a key point in all secondary-preventive process in patiens with coronary artery disease (CAD). Design:this study is focused on assesing the impact of a modified aerobic-resistance training on cardiorespiratory parameters in patiens after an acute coronary event. Results: significant increase in work tolerance (1,8±0,3 vs. 2,0±0,4 W/kg; p<0.001) and peak oxygen consumption (22,8±4,5 vs. 25,9±5,5 pVO2, p<0.001). There was also observed a nonsignificant decrease in resting values of heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Conclusion: modified program leads to improvements in aerobic capacity, which is one of the major prognostic factors CAD patients.
