Description Proximal forearm injuries belong to the most common fractures at all. Surgical treatment of these injuries is not always easy due to complex skeletal anatomy, muscles, and ligaments. Each inaccuracy of the osteosynthesis has a negative impact on the biomechanics of the elbow joint, eventually also the wrist. New facts arise nowadays and it is necessary to respect them during surgical treatment.
