| Description | Two-stage replantation is considered as the method of choice ín the treatment of TKA infections. Using articuiating spacer devised by Aaron Hofmann seems to be the optimal method of the first step of therapy - revision of infected TKA. The principle is to maintain the maximum possible mobility of the knee joint, preventing muscle atrophyand ensure effective treatment of infection. |
