Description Immunomodulation is a non-specific term that includes all intentional interventions in immune responses. There is a wide range of products with a declared immunomodulory effects available at pharmacies. Authorised medicinal products usually have the effects documented by serious double-blind controlled studies. Other places occupy dietary supplements for which is proven only harmfulness, but not the efficacy according to the rules of evidence-based medicine. Imunoglukan, due to the increasing number of high-quality clinical trials, occupies a special place in this group.
