Description Quality of life in oncological patients is often subject to surveying and analysis. It is perceived as a multi-dimensional construct, containing numerous objective components as well as value-related and attitude components. There are expectations that interventional exercise programmes are one of the options for influencing the quality of life. To assess the change in quality of life in oncological patients in remission after participation in an interventional exercise programme. The research sample consisted of 18 respondents (age M = 53,44, SD = 16,39, MIN = 23 years, MAX = 77 years) with Hodgkin's lymphoma or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis 1-3 months after chemotherapy or combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy, patients at the Internal Hematology and Oncology Clinic of University Hospital Brno. The SEIQoL Method (Schedule for the Evaluation of Individual Quality of Life) was used for data collection and administered before and after the interventional exercise. The interventional programme lasted 3 months and it included respiratory trainings. There were no statistically significant changes in quality of life. The impact of the interventional exercise programme on the respondents' quality of life was not confirmed. The research sample shall be expanded or additional, in particular qualitative surveys must be carried out in order to enable further generalising, confirmation and thorough interpretation of the results.
