| Description | In forensic medical practice, we occasionally experience deaths, which could be described as unusual or curious. To these we can undoubtedly include an accident in which death occurred on the one of drilling platforms in the Vyškov region. During the night, after normal shutdown due to extension of drill rods, the irrigation pump was restarted. After the pressure increased at about 180-210 bars, pressure relief valve discharge line burst. Drilling medium flow stroked the worker in the area of the left ear, penetrated into the skull cavity and caused injury incompatible with life. |
