Description The aim of qualitative research was to determine whether intravenous application of high doses of vitamin C (IVC) affects the quality of life of oncology patients. The semi-structured interview with informants was inspired by the WHOQOL – 100 (physical health domain, experience, social relations, independence level, environment). The research was subsequently supplemented by a retrospective look at the application itself with subjective sensations of the patient. The research was part of the project "Application of high doses of vitamin C intravenously – an impact on the quality of life of the patient, information and opinions of the professional and lay public" number MUNI/A/0911/2017 supported by special-purpose support for specific university research provided by the MŠMT in 2018.
