Description In the adult population, soft tissue sarcomas (STS) account for approximately 1% of all cancers. In the population of children and young adults up to 20 years of age, they are relatively more frequent and account for 7% of all cancers, half of which are rhabdomosarcomas (RMS). Other tumors of this very heterogeneous group are called non-rhabdomyosarcomas of soft tissue (NRTS).
