Description Multibacterial colonosation is a common problem in a various chronic wound presentation. The key of succesful chronic wound therapy, pressure ulcer lesions included, remains in a multifaceted conservative therapy, mostly relying on chemical lowering of bacterial load, widely used in a concept of a moist wound healing process. Nonethelles, our experience shows, that a significant reduce of bacterial colonization might be also obtain by physical means - with a use of ionised medical gas plasma in a combination of other conservative means.
