| Description | Care for patients suffering from COVID-19 infection is difficult for healthcare professionals because of the need to use all recommended personal protective equipment (PPE). When using PPE, fundamental errors occur. The errors potentially lead to the spreading of the infection through the contamination or even the disease of healthcare professionals. The paper summarizes the basic recommendations for the appropriate use of PPE and the most common mistakes that professional caregivers can make in clinical practice. |
