| Description | As part of the preoperative effort to minimize postoperative complications, an operational risk assessment (ASA) is performed, as well as an evaluation of the nutritional status and compensation of comorbidities. It is important to comprehensively determine the operational risk, predict complications and especially the benefit of the operation for the patient. There is always a fundamentally individual approach to evaluation. We do not consider age alone as a contraindication for surgery. Other treatment modalities (RFA, RT, etc.) must be considered. |
