Description At the end of 2019, a new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 was identified, which caused a global pandemic. This acute infectious disease is associated with coagulopathy, which leads to a hypercoagulable state in patients. Coagulopathy in this disease is complex in feature and involves a number of different factors. Patients result in a high risk of venous as well as arterial thrombosis. This finding leads to the inclusion of measures in hospitalized and outpatient patients to reduce the proportion of thromboembolism in COVID-19 infection.
