| Description | On June 14, 2022 takes place in the lecture hall of the University Hospital Brno Bohunice XXIV. Brno Geriatric Day and the 14th Brno-Bratislava Gerontological Symposium for geriatricians, internists, general practitioners and non-physicians of the Czech Medical Association. The conference has a postgraduate educational character. The lecturers are invited leading experts from the Czech and Slovak Republics. The main topics of the professional program are lectures dealing comprehensively with the issues and specifics of diabetes mellitus in old age. Lecturers view the problem of diabetes not only in terms of possible specific micro- and macrovascular complications, but also the issues of prevention and therapy, including issues of obesity and nutrition. A total of 15 invited lectures by leading experts in the field will follow the event. |
