| Description | The seminar is intended for pharmacists as part of their whole-life education. The seminar focuses on the specifics of pharmacotherapy of senior age – international recommendations on the use of drugs in the lederly, risky drugs in the elderly, their potential for risk (manifestation of side effects, risk of overdose), suitable alternatives to drugs will be discussed. We will also focus on the manifestations of adverse drug reactions, the prescribing cascade and low-dose drug regimens. |
