| Description | Almost one third of adult cancer patients undergo palliative radiation therapy. This review article provides basic information on the methods radiotherapy uses to affect the most common symptoms in patients undergoing palliative treatment. It also focuses on the toxicity and effectiveness of radiotherapy. |
