Description Positive psychology brings a range of scientific findings and empirically proven interventions to support mental health, well-being and psychological resilience. One of the key factors increasing psychological well-being is hope, which significantly influences the process and success of counseling and psychotherapy activities. Forms and sources of hope and psychological resilience and their connection with mental and physical health were briefly presented at the lecture. The main attention was paid to an overview of effective methods and interventions of applied positive psychology, which are successfully used to strengthen psychological resilience and increase hope in clients and patients.
