Description The results of study confirm that both subtypes of cannabinoid (CB1, CB2) receptors have been identified on leukocytes are involved in regulation of their phagocytic activity. Methamphetamine suppressive effectson on leukocyte phagocytosis, even just slight one we have recorded in the present experiment, was able to interact with cannabinergic influences and modify them. The pharmacological mechanism of these functional interactions cannot be elucidated from the present study, however, the fact of their existence might be clinically important in addictive patients using both methamphetamine and cannabinoids.
